Steelhead Falls On Crooked River
Just .5 miles from the trailhead lies Steelhead Falls. Millions of years of erosion are visible through the colorful grooves on the cliffs. Wildflowers bloom in spring, and golden eagles soar above. The trail to the falls is relatively easy, with one small, steep section. Hike down for a picnic, fish in the Deschutes River, explore the rocky shores, or just sit and relax and let the sound of the falls erase the world around you. The Deschutes Canyon-Steelhead Falls Wilderness Study Area (WSA) (OR-5-14) is part of a larger study area that includes U.S. Forest Service lands. This WSA is located in a triangle formed by the towns of Madras, Redmond and Sisters, in Central Oregon. Steelhead Falls is a lengthy strip of land along the upper Deschutes, in and near the Crooked River National Grasslands administered by the USFS.

Smith rock is one of many State parks in the area here in Terrebonne, Oregon. You can enjoy all kinds of wildlife, rivers and beautiful rock formations around Smith Rock. Once you reach the very top at Smith Rock you can see all of Central Oregon!
At the end of your day at Smith Rock State Park you can head back to Copper Ridge RV Resort and enjoy the Crooked River Ranch swimming pool. The swimming pool at Crooked River Ranch is available to all guests here at the RV park. All guests are required to pick up a swimming pass at Copper Ridge RV Resort while placing a refundable deposit of twenty dollars to obtain the swimming pool pass to access.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this show stopper classic 1969 Shasta RV. Guests enjoy the views and starry skies. The camper has power, refrigerator, stove, microwave, running water as well as an eating area, couch with pull out queen bed, and a bunk bed. Guests have access to the bathroom and showers with key code access.
